On 11/04/09, I attend the First MA ZHU parade that occur only every 40 years. The MA ZHU located at the Georgetown area have the history of 120 years and this is the first time the organizer plan to have this parade. Basically Ma Zhu is the God that blessing those fisherman that go out to have their living in the sea and Ma Zhu are famous in Taiwan seaside area as it
originated from there.
This is the ceremony of adding luck to prevent those bad luck things occur. Every prayer have to crawl under the Ma Zhu Statue.
This is the taiwan famous "San Tai Zhi" or also known as Na Zha
They are carrying the statue down to start the parade.
As mention before, this is "San Tai Zhi" and it is made from china
This Green Man is the guardian of Ma Zhu. They escording the Ma Zhu to the next destination of the parade. This suit having the weight of 26KG and it cost Rm2K.

The Beginning of the parade..
The Parade has attracted more than 500 people to the temple located in Batu Maung and the statue of the Ma Zhu will be deliver to the next temple which located at Teluk Kumbar.
